Chapter 10 test tomorrow. Know your pass word to get into Google. We are testing on the computer using Google Classroom.
Here are the study guide answers. STUDY THE STUDY GUIDE PLEASE!! Due to the possibility of a short day or no school tomorrow, I want to be clear. If, and that is a BIG if, we miss Thursday 2/19/15, the Chapter 10 test is still on Friday. IF we miss both days it will be the day we return to school.
Here is the study guide. It has page numbers to reference in the book. The book is either at your house or on line. You have a smart phone, probably, that can look up answers too from the book. You are expected to have the study guide done by Thursday. Providing we are here on Thursday the study guide is due at the BEGINNING OF THE CLASS. If it is not done, and you were in attendance the day before, you will be sent to the LGI to finish it and have a lunch detention for not completing your work. If you remember last time, over 80% of my classes did not have it done. That is why there is a negative consequence attached this time. You will also be turning it in with your test if we are not here Thursday so I can see it. Here are the notes from today as well. Today we went over the work from Friday. We then did a map of the Seminole and read part of an article on Osceola. There were questions to be answered.

This was all put off because of high school scheduleing. THE QUIZ OVER 10-2 IS MOVED TO FRIDAY DUE TO SCHEDULING.
Tonight's assignment is to do the Panic of 1837 worksheet. Read the worksheet and the chart on the front. Then fill in the graph (follow the directions at the top) and then answer the questions on the bottom of the paper. Panic worksheet The goal for today was for the students to see how the Northern and Southern sections of the country had different views on the tariff issue. You can see the comparison in the notes. The South hated it because it hurt their ability to get imported goods from England when they sold their cotton at English auction. This is due to the high import tariffs when they brought the items into the country after purchase. The North on the other hand liked them because they protected the northern manufacturing from English competition. We also watched a part of the Andrew Jackson History Channel video you can see below. Below are the notes, the bell ringer (has a light bulb on it coupled with the vocab builder), the homework paper that is a work scramble that covers much of the Chapter 10 vocab, and 10-2 Flash Cards for vocab..
