Today we worked in groups talking about 7-2, Hamilton and Jefferson and the National Bank, pros and cons, etc. There is a quiz tomorrow over this information PLUS info from 7-1.
My advice is to study the notes 7-1 and 7-2 and the vocab. Attached are the vocab cards for these sections. Study for the quiz tomorrow 7-1 vocab 7-2 vocab 7-1 and 7-2 QUIZ/TEST tomorrow Talked about strict and loose construction today. The kids seem to get it!!! They also seem to understand that in order to get credit, you must assume debt and faithfully pay it off.
They have a map worksheet to do this weekend. Most got it done in class. The internet has been in and out. That is why this is the first update in a while. here is LAST NIGHTS homework.
Tonight's homework is to Read pages 266-270 and after reading, you are to do the questions on page 270 1,2, and 3.
This is due Monday We will be having a Chapter 7 section 1 and 2 quiz the day before we go on break. Please be sure to be here. It is your responsibility to reatake it when you return. Test tomorrow over Chapter 6. Be sure to study the study-guide, Bill of Rights and the checks and balances.

Today they got notes and we retook the quiz over the Bill of Rights if they needed to. Tonight they need to finish the study guide. I will be giving the answers out tomorrow in class and we will be playing BINGO over the chapter information. Thursday we will be doing another review game Friday is the Chapter 6 test. Today we took a Bill of Rights Quiz. If they scored less than a 7, they wil take it again tomorrow at the beginning of class.
Tonight they have to read Chapter 6 section 3 and do their best on the notes. If they don't get them done, it is OK. BUT THEY MUST READ IT. Chapter 6 test on Friday. tomorrow they will get the study guide. First, sorry for the recent issues with my website. For some reason, it has not been allowing me to post properly or allowing me to attach work to the site. I think it is on the side of the website not mine. But I am going to try again today! :-)
Last night they had a little worksheet they were to try to do. I have copies here for them. We will have a few minutes at the beginning of class today to wrap it up if needed. We are going to play a game today as well around the Bill of Rights. Pictionary like game. Hope they have fun! This weekend they are to study the Bill of Rights paper we filled out in class yesterday, and be ready for a quiz on Monday. We will also be talking about the responsibilities of citizens on Monday as well. There is no study guide this time, as of yet. It will be over the first 3 Articles, the Bill of Rights and responsibilities of a citizen, and it is on FRIDAY of next week.. |
